We absolutely loved our stay at this mind-blowingly beautiful, remote horse ranch! The well-maintained cottages were super clean and had everything we needed, except an oven. The surrounding area was jaw-droppingly beautiful, perfect for hiking. The friendly staff made us feel welcome and the comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep. Free parking, Wi-Fi, and amenities like an electric kettle and cookware were handy. The peaceful location was easy to find, and the nearby town had a grocery store, even though it closed early. Highly recommend for a fantastic, pet-free getaway!

The venue was a perfect base for enjoying a tranquil area, close enough to a farm, eastern Iceland, and the surrounding forest and waterfalls. We had a cottage with an en-suite bathroom. The location was stunning and convenient - just a walk down to everywhere we wanted to go.

I had a fantastic stay at this cozy cottage. It was well equipped with everything I needed, including a kitchenette. Despite the cold temperatures outside, the cottage was well heated and provided a comfortable retreat. The location, near a farm in the mountains, allowed for beautiful surrounding hikes and easy access to stunning waterfalls. The check-in process was easy and the owner, a friendly German lady and her Icelandic husband, made me feel welcome. The presence of friendly and beautiful horses on the property added to the charm of this place. I had a wonderful and private stay at a reasonable price.
Nothing for me.

My recent stay at Stormur Cottages was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and taken care of. The cozy and warm cabin was beautifully decorated, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax. The location was also ideal for viewing the stunning northern lights. The cottage was fully equipped with everything I needed, from a comfortable bed with great pillows to a well-stocked kitchenette. The clean and modern bathroom was a pleasant surprise. Check-in was hassle-free, even though there was no one on-site due to a recent fire. Instructions were provided, and Melanie later checked in to ensure everything was okay. And to top it off, the late check-out time allowed me to enjoy a leisurely morning. I highly recommend Stormur Cottages for a perfect and memorable stay.

The location was amazing, surrounded by beautiful horses and a peaceful atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth, and the host, Melanie, made sure everything was perfect for our stay. The double bed was comfortable, and the modern bathroom and shower were clean. We also appreciated the late check-out time of 11 am, allowing us to relax in the morning without rushing.

The wooden interiors of the cottages at Stormur were charming, and the dining tables provided a perfect setting for my fancy meals. The kitchenette came in handy for my gourmet cooking sessions. The views from the cottage were breathtaking, watching the river flow and the mountains. well, just being there.
Not a sign of room service! How dare they not come and make my bed and bring me breakfast in bed every morning.
